Recently we had a new addition to our family. We welcomed Rylan Stephen into the mix. My Great nephew. He is adorable, putting on weight and growing faster than you could ever imagine. We love shopping or at least I do for his Baby Blankets.
He is even beginning to start to say, "I good", remember teaching your babies that? Usually the first words they learn or are taught to learn are 'Mommy and or Daddy'. It was always a race to see who's words he/she spoke first. Mommy or Daddy. In this case we have tended to teach them to say the words 'I good.'
So what did you teach yours to say?
He also rolled him self over for the first time earlier this month and for only being 4 months old he did quite the job with the performance. Of course his Mom was extremely proud and so was his Grandma.
He likes to swing in his swing while using baby sling.
He also loves his Crib blankets and uses them while stretched out in his crib. He is such an adorable little boy and seems so content when he is sleeping. Yeah I said sleeping, however he is a good baby when he is awake too that is for certain.
Overall he is just the best thing to happen to us in quite some time. For those of you who remember ready some posts earlier this year we had quite the year as a family. First of all I lost my significant other who decided that we weren't meant to be and then less than a month after she left my Mother passed away with a long bout of fighting COPD. In the long and short of it, "Don't Smoke if you don't have to". Then after that we had a Tornado destroy our little town of 250 people. Out of the 110 homes in the town only 47 of them were left. It has began to restore but will not be the same for many many years to come. I never want to experience anything like the above again in my life time. I also would not wish such devastation on anyone.
However as stated the new addition to the family has been a huge bright spot and we as a family are trudging forward. Wouldn't have it any other way and God has been blessing us through our journey.
