Has anyone been to smallbusiness.xo.com yet? I own my own small business and I've been looking for a way to streamline all the technologies I seem to have floating around at my office.
When I first started this business I wanted to make sure I was as advanced as possible but now that I'm in the mix of things I feel like I got a little too much tech around here. I think when I bought that tablet last month I realized things were heading in a direction out of my control… I even had to hire an IT consultant to come in once a month and make sure everything was running smoothly.
I had a business professor tell me once the key to having a successful small business was making sure you never had people hired to do things you couldn't do yourself. I think the fact that so behind when it comes to technology knowledge makes me uncomfortable that I can't run every aspect of my own business.
