Being a housewife is less than it’s cracked up to be if you ask me and it’s partly because I get really, really bored here during the day. Other than that it’s not too bad but I’ve started taking up a lot of weird hobbies to avoid watching hours upon hours of http://www.satellitetvfamily.com/satellite-tv-kansas-city-mo channels which is what I did when I first quit my job and stayed home.
I love to quilt apparently so I’ve been doing a lot of that and I also learned how to make stained glass which yes, I realize is really weird. I know there’s something great about using my creativity but all this crafting’s getting expensive and I don’t have the time or the patience to try to put my stuff up on Etsy.
I love being a stay at home mom but if something doesn’t give I’m going to pull my hair out I’m going so crazy. Who would have thought me, the law firm’s youngest partner, would end up in this place I’m in now, huh?

Trendy Footwear with Infinity Shoes
Need some trendy footwear or perhaps just something that has much comfort and is stylish for the party or family get together. No matter what your desire is with Infinity Shoes I personally don't think that you can go wrong.

Not anymore! For $8 (left $2 for tip), and a 5 minute wait, they fixed them!
It's been a few weeks also so I can attest that they didn't fall off.
I found a shoe place in the city I can trust who doesn't rip me off! Yay!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
How's your Holidays been. I was reflecting back to this time last year and doing a little grieving over not being in the place I call home. Kentucky. If you've been reading this blog for sometime you know that last year at this time I was in Western Kentucky spending time with a special friend and special relatives.
For the past few weeks I had been missing the fact that I was not going to be there this year. I sincerely enjoyed getting to spend time with my family back home, Christmas and New Years, and longing to be on the road once again headed that way for this year. I was treated so nice by all of them and wanted to go be with them again this year, eat some great southern food, go for drives along the river and just relax and watch some SEC basketball.
Also I was quietly reminded that I spent most of my time last year with a special friend who I fell in love with. She is quite the Mom to her boys and a very good friend to several. I guess I have to admit that I was missing our time together as much as missing my family and loved ones. We spent nearly every hour together for 9 or 10 days over the Holidays last year and I have to tell you that it was a well needed break for me at the time. It wasn't meant to be but for the time being I learned a great deal about myself and took another step towards a healthy relationship. Or I should say that I eventually took that step in the right direction, at the time I can't actually say it was a very healthy period when all things that came into play are considered.
Anyway this year has been marvelous as well. I spent the day today with my siblings after driving/riding out to my Mother's gravsite for the first time since her passing. I have to say that it is a very special place that overlooks a nice lake and very comforting considering the situation.
Then we came over to one of my sisters house and finished preparing the meal, eating and opening gifts. It is such a fun time watching the little children rip the paper off the toys and whatnot. They get so excited saying, "oh wow cool, what is it?" ha ha ha. They get excited screaming yeah then realize they haven't figured out what it is they even got yet. Hilarious!
So how did your Holidays go? Where you blessed? I know I was even if I thought I was disappointed at not being at home. I still had a great time and was right where I was suppose to be at the very moment.
Next weekend being New Years and all, I encourage everyone to be safe and thoughtful so they don't do anything I wouldn't do. Most of all have fun and look out for each other.
