They're Back! Amazing Race Unfinished Business

As you are well aware if your a Reality TV junkie that a lot of the shows have plenty of negativity and plenty of screaming outburst. Not to say that the Amazing Race hasn't had a few in it's own right, I mean it makes for interesting TV. However I think it is one of the few that has more of a positive spin and with great competiveness and competitions from all across the globe. Can't wait for the Season Premiere of Amazing Race Unfinished Business Season 18.

The Amazing Race 18 will feature eleven teams of two, each returning from a previous edition in a race around the world for a $1 million prize. Check out the video courtesy of cbs.com/amazingrace and see if your past favorite team is in the running this season. I am excited to see Gary and Mallory back and hope they bring home the big fat money prize.

So is your favorite past team there? If so or if you have a favorite this season please feel free to comment and let us know. Don't forget the Season Premiere is Feb. 20th only on CBS.

From A to Z Find Anything and Everything for Sale on the Web

From A to Z and it even seems like more than that! Need to find something on the Web, looking to purchase say a slow cooker or maybe even some shoes, luggage, video games or even a GPS. Who knows what they DON'T have all I can say is ShopWiki.com appears to have everything. Look no further!

Having recently made a couple trips back home over the Holidays I wish I would have found this site sooner. I would have loved to not only find and purchase some luggage from them, but I would have made some of my gift purchases for Christmas.

From counter top to large appliances such as refrigerators and dishwashers almost kitchen appliances are easily found on this shopping site. They are designed to help us as consumers find anything on the Internet with ease.

If your a merchant and store owner, add your store and get a Free Badge, all stores in ShopWiki get a free badge. And it's simple to add your site to the list and only takes about 2 or 3 weeks for your products to begin to show up in shopwiki search results. Are you a cookbook store, do you sell cookbooks online. Add your site you have nothing to lose really. I think this is an excellent idea for merchants!

Another example I'll share before you go or maybe you haven't considered checking it out yet, but I'm sure you will if your looking to buy ANYTHING on the Internet. An example might be some dinnerware. Go there and see how they break it down by telling you things to consider when purchasing dinnerware either for yourself or perhaps even a wedding gift. They will provide links to reviews from such sites as amazon dot com. They will even inform you if some dinnerware types have been reported to be defective so it appears there really is nothing to worry about when it comes to integrity. Whatever your reasons for buying, choose carefully and have fun!

Looking For Web Hosting Services Look No Farther Fans

In the next month or so I am going to have to renew my web hosting services. I have been analyzing my needs and whether or not I want to change companies. Fortunately like most bloggers I have common needs, which include this relatively simple website (blog), and an email solution for my domain name.

However there are those who have several thousand visitors each day or even 100's of thousand visitors and clicks into their site. These professionals actually need a more complex website hosting service. If that is you, you might want to take a look at all your options and compare prices as well as read the reviews from present and past customers. Do your research and don't be let down by not getting what your looking for. Send out some tweets or ask your friends on facebook who run websites what their experience has been and who they use.

More than likely you will hear several of the hosting services listed here and you can check out their  independent customer rating of the best 5 web hosting companies worldwide in 2010. Read the web hosting reviews that are listed. There are many and I assure you it will be helpful and if your new will give you a much better idea on maybe who to choose.

Prices vary between less than $5 and $10 per month for a shared hosting to more than $100 for a dedicated solution. If you are not a very experienced user and your website needs a dedicated machine, it would be best to purchase managed dedicated hosting solution, where the hosting company would make all server settings and security protection for you. The managed dedicated solutions prices start from prices ranging around $200/month and up.

Survivor 22 Redemption Island Preview ~ Very Interesting Twist

Jeff tells us the scoop of the changes, huge change in my opinion on how this upcoming season will be with a twist. Survivor 22 Redemption Island has just that. Listen as Jeff chimes in and shares how the typical season is not that typical this year.

If you've been voted out your not actually out. You have another chance by duking it out with the next cast member who is voted off giving you a chance to return to the game. So in other words it's like a second chance. I like the thought of this. I knew they were going to make up for last season. Sorry but I still and always will think it was the worst Survivor season in the history of Survivor.

So did you watch? What do you think are they going over the edge, changing the game too much or is it the right thing to do at the right time? I see Russell and Rob hanging around much longer than what I had previously predicted. Now let's see them duke it out on the Redemption Island phase or the second chance play. That is going to make for a real interesting episode and we all know it's gonna happen!

Play Games Online Girls From Cooking to Celebrities and Much Much More

When I first received this to review in my email, it raised an eyebrow. I thought there isn't anyway I am going to review anything that has to do with porn on my website. Isn't happening! Period. Here's what I first saw, play easy girl games online, well guess it's my own assumption but I have had several offers in the past to do such type reviews and of course you won't find anything that even resembles such nonsense on this site.

Then I realized it is not, nor does it have anything slightly at all, what so ever to do with porn.

When you look at http://www.easygirlgames.com/ you can see why one might mistake it for something I just mentioned, however since it is not I won't mention that word again. What I will tell you is that it is a Wonderful site for you if you have children, specifically young girls, a niece, a granddaughter or a neighbor who is an avid online game player or would like to learn how to use the web. Not only are there many games to play and have great fun with, your child can gain some knowledge about using the internet by playing these games as well. It will keep their attention by offering several categories such as:
  • Make Over
  • Doll Maker
  • Room Decorating
  • Kissing
  • Barbie
  • Celebrity
  • Cooking
  • Kissing games
  • and many more!
So what are you waiting on? Take a look for yourself and treat your young one how to use the site. It's really easy to navigate and has several categories and you can even let them cartoon themselves. As with any site, I encourage all parents and guardians to always, always keep a close eye on your children when they are online. Personally I recommend setting up your parental controls to keep them out of certain sites. The internet and certain websites do not know who is visiting them, they really don't care, they only know what is being put in by the user regardless of age, sex, and gender or whatever it doesn't matter. Some are not very child friendly so keep a close eye on your loved one when they are online.

So have you visited them yet? If so what was your experience? Do you think that they are what they say they are, the little time I spent there I saw huge benefits that relate to fun and attraction for any young girl. Let us know by commenting and or send this to your friends on facebook and or tweet about it. Thanks

Nothing Says Happy Valentines Day Gifts Like Chocolates

I love chocolate! What more can I say. With Valentines Day just around the corner, get me something along the lines of chocolate gifts.

Seriously though, I can remember growing up and as a child I never liked most of the candies inside those heart shaped boxes. But today if it's got chocolate in it or around it, covered in chocolate in any way, I want it. I love it and I crave it.

Why does chocolate stir so many feelings and emotions for us? Chocolate has long been associated with passion, romance and love. How many times have you watched a loved one close their eyes and smile after having taken a big ole bite of chocolate? This passion may go all the way back to the ancient times. They believed chocolate was a source of spiritual wisdom, incredible energy and elevated sexual power. Chocolate was widely used as a nuptial aid and was widely served at wedding ceremonies. The Aztecs did not know chocolate as we do today they mainly just drank it.

There's some indication that some Emperor from some country consumed large quantities of the drink every day and always fortified himself with a cup before entertaining his harem. There was also and explorer named Cortes who reported to Carlos I of Spain that chocolate is "... the divine drink which builds up resistance and fights fatigue. A cup of this precious drink enables a man to walk for a whole day without food." From the earliest times, chocolate was considered a substance of power and a source of vitality.

I'm not sure I believe all of that. I know when we where young and playing sports, say for instance getting ready to start the basketball game against a heated rivalry, we were encouraged to eat a chocolate candy bar. However, if I remember right, I was told later that it zapped your energy, not gave you some. Didn't matter I always felt like a champ when I consumed a nice big chunk of chocolate. Wow I want some fudge right now!

So how about you? Do you like chocolate? Feel free to add to the conversation by commenting and sending to your facebook friends and tweet your followers.

Reality ~ The Return Home

Prior to the Holidays and again at Christmas I was blessed to be able to return to my home state. A place I had longed to walk the ground upon once again. My ole Kentucky home!

Sunset over the Ohio River in Caseyville, Ky.

As I reminisce even at this very moment a song comes to mind, a song performed by Brooks and Dunn called that Red Dirt Road. Below is a few of the lyrics that are so true when I think of Home.

It's where I drank my first beer.
It's where I found Jesus.
Where I wrecked my first car
I tore it all to pieces.
I learned the path to Heaven,
Is full of sinners an' believers.
Learned that happiness on earth,
Ain't just for high achievers.
I've learned; I come to know,
There's life at both ends,
Of that red dirt road.

I have to admit the first time I returned was for the burial of my Aunt. A lady who will forever have a place in my heart. Someone who loved and accepted me for who I am and not for any other reasons ever placed any judgement upon my character or the mistakes I've made along life's highway nor the successes I've achieved  It didn't matter, she loved me and others just the same. I'll miss you Aunt Spat.

The second trip was more for selfish reasons. Though I knew after the first trip home in November that I still had unfinished business and needed to return whenever I could. I just didn't know it would be the following month in December and at Christmas time. I say selfish reasons because I left my immediate family behind in order to spend time with relatives and a very special friend I met nearly a year ago. I have to say I have no regrets. I think my only regret would have been not to go and do this.

You see I hadn't been home since I buried my Dad back in 1994, at which time I was numb and don't remember much of the visit. This visit allowed me to heal and put some closure on some things that I felt the door was still open on. It also gave me the opportunity to be with my family that I hadn't seen except on one or two occasions since 1994. Christmas was wonderful! They are wonderful!

As for my friend, someone who I had previously told over and over how much I loved them and have since said it many times as well, we spent more time together than apart those 10 or 11 days I was home.... I learned alot about myself, I learned a little more about her. I entered into a place I had previously shut off and closed the door on, now I am wondering if I it was the right thing...? She was wonderful!... She is wonderful!

"I Love You Baby," I hadn't said those words face to face with anyone in quite a few years. I have no regrets with this either, but I don't think we have what we thought we had. Too many other issues come into play. Too many emotions, including fear and the risks it takes to make certain changes. To make things happen. Some people just don't want to let go of what they know and I understand this. Change is scary.  What's life without taking healthy risks? Boring! Fucking boring! ......

I never laughed so hard, I never felt so excited, nervous and scared as I did those 10 days. What to do, where to go from here is weighing heavily upon my emotions. I'm not one to let you inside in such a way as I did with her. Like I said I have no regrets but I am not certain yet that we have what we want or what we think we want. Of course until we are able to be together we won't know. I long for those days. I miss you!

If your reading this I still love you, I'm in love with you! And that includes you too, I won't ever stop loving my friends. That's the Reality of it.

"I Miss You!"
Maybe someday I'll return home again, for now I have unfinished business here.

Helping Cancer Patients Smile Through Project Blue Sky and Blue Sky Scrubs

Nothing more relaxing than working around the house and on my computer and doing so in my lounge pants. If your going to be at home for whatever reason, maybe you work from home or it's your day off, you might as well be as comfortable as possible right? If you really believe this then I also encourage you to check out these medical scrubs from BlueSkyscrubs.com.

Comfort is an important factor when it comes to Blue Skys scrubs for men, as doctors and nurses have to spend the whole day in the hospital or office with patients it's important for them to be able to deliver the best possible care throughout the day. Being uncomfortable is not an option. A Blue Sky scrub has become a uniform for people associated with the medical field. You can customize your scrubs according to your choice but first of all you need to check with your organization about any policies related to clothing that needs to be followed.

Even though when people think of scrubs they think of a medical scrub. However in today's real world the average everyday mom and pop tend to love to wear these around the house and even out in the community for that matter because of the comfort they provide. I say you only live once and to live in such a manner as to not be happy and comfortable doing what you love doing then your not yet living.

A Blue Sky scrub is available in all the sizes and you can comfortably fit into one without having any worries about your size. You can easily get matching scrub tops and pants and compliment it with a unique surgical hat, so that you can have a harmonized look. Believe me they know about hats and unique ones at that. Shelby Marquardt, created blue sky by first designing and perfecting a surgical hat. Since 2005 and the following years the scrubs were introduced and the rest is history. Through all these years, Blue Sky scrub has created a history as one of the best providers for comfortable work gear and it continues to rule the market. These scrubs are quite easy to maintain and you can easily get rid of stains on your outfit by using the conventional remover for stains.

I would also like to mention their mission statement. With every scrub purchased a hat will be donated to a cancer patient or the purchaser so that they are given the opportunity to hand deliver it to a cancer patient. Project Blue Sky helps people smile. Would you?

Survivor: Redemption Island Jeff Probst weighs in on this seasons cast

"This isn't about friends it's about a million dollars in cash,"  --Jeff Probst

Jeff weighs in on this seasons cast members of Survivor Redemption Island. Get the breakdown from the following video. It seems that there will be plenty of surprises this year. From a trash talker who says she loves to just talk trash about people, a former football player turned yoga instructor to the guy who has the highest IQ of anyone who ever played the game.

Rob and Russell the two villians returning for yet another season are out to make it all the way or try once again. Listen to Jeff as he talks about how Redemption Island will be like no other previous Survior season in more ways than one. He even mentions that he thinks one of the two, Rob or Russell, once voted off will return, that they will not in reality be voted off. So it isn't over till it's over.

I am very excited this season. After what most deemed as a disappointing Season last year, this looks like it's going to be one of the highest rated Survivor Seasons of all time. Weigh in with your own thoughts and feel free to comment or send to your facebook friends and family and retweet if you would. Thanks, let's enjoy and get ready for the first night. This season kicks off on Feb. 16th  8/7c only on CBS! (video courtesy of cbs.com/survivor )

Are you a little frustrated with privacy concerns when it comes to your social networking site(s)? From some one who spends a great deal of time on Facebook I must tell you that I receive notifications all the time from friends on my list who want me to join this or play this game or sometimes outta the blue I receive application requests for things that I honestly have no interest in.

I couldn't even begin to imagine some of the people who have, say over 2000 + friends, and the notifications they receive on a daily basis. Just imagine that they didn't get on there for a few days how fast they would build up and the amount of time wasted in deleting each one or going through them trying to figure out which friend sent what and whether or not it's worth the effort to read or just delete.

If you have a select few family members or friends that you communicate with regularly on you social site you should reconsider by taking a look at YapTime and the Free service they offer. No it's not a social networking site like twitter or facebook. No more hassles of friend request from someone you don't know or even have an interest in getting to know. Switch Roles Put Russell on Big Brother and Evel Dick on Survivor

Survivor versus Big Brother. Wouldn't that be interesting? I mean let's see who we can pit against each other and who do you think would have the best chance of winning if they were on a different show.

For example

Take Evel Dick and put him on Redemption Island and take Boston Rob and put him on Big Brother 13. Who do you think would have the best chance at taking home the cool million or $500 grand by outwitting, outlasting and outplaying the cast they are matched up against.

I'm certain several would say the Evel Dick would have the best chance at playing the game of Survivor than Russell would have at Big Brother. However the alliances Russell would create probably would be an interesting group, ya think?

Who else would you like to see switch shows and try their hand at the game that is not completely unfamiliar of course but take them out of their element of being on an island versus being stuck inside a house with a bunch of other crazies trying to survive another week and win Head of Household or win the immunity idol. Or in case they put the damn things out in the open again find an idol with such ease that they know they won't have to worry about going home during tribal council.

Have something to add, please feel free to comment and join in on the conversation by giving us your two cents worth.

Be a True Survivor by Making Bullion Investments

Why gold? Why not gold or gold bullion coins that gain with your investment. Having to opportunity to become a true survivor in making a long term investment what better way than to invest in gold. You don't actually have to win at the game of Survivor or Big Brother in order to preserve your wealth.

In today's market if you buy gold bullion it is selling in the neighborhood or $1300+ dollars and has remained at that pace for sometime, actually increasing slowly over the years. Gold bullion usually refers to gold in a brick-shaped bar, called an ingot. However, the term also applies to certain gold coins. Bullion's value is based on its metal purity, not its face value.

Maybe instead of giving away cars as mentioned in a previous post, contestants on Reality series shows such as Survivor and Big Brother and or the Amazing Race, they could give away a certain amount of gold bullion during such phases of the game where they offer prizes.

Ok not going to happen right? Still don't be discouraged at the fact that if you buy bullion your not making a great investment. What I'd give for 10 or 20 one ounce bars of the stuff right now! I can think of how I would use it to invest in some small property, perhaps a small farm house with a few acres and enough room and land for plenty of fun. Whoop! Whoop!

Primarily used by four groups of people gold bullion does make a great investment for:
  • jewelers
  • banks
  • private investors
  • collectors
  • and industry, such as dentistry and electronics
What would you prefer? A little gold that is a huge investment for your preservation in later life or the cash up front immediately? I know what most folk's answer is but I am curious as to how many would simply settle for a nice bullion. Have something to add, feel free to chime in and offer your support, discouragement or any input you may have. And most of all thanks for visiting and commenting.

Need some Kodak Ink? Why Not Choose a Leading Online Supplier

How many people do you know who needed say, Kodak printer ink and either couldn't find it or thought it too expensive so they just went out and purchased a new printer instead?

Well that may be feasible for some but what if you have one of those printers that take 5 people to move around? I don't think that you have any interest other than buying some more Kodak ink cartridges. Take a look at this site I came across and I think you will be amazed at what inkGrabber.com has to offer.

With a huge selection of brands that have been known to be hard to find you'll have no more worries in finding yours. From Apollo to Xerox and Kodak ink you name it and they probably have it and at a reasonable cost with a 90 day money back guarantee on every single item in stock, including printer supplies, you can't go wrong by choosing to use their services.

An excellent source for all your needs including at home or even schools you'll find that they provide with ease. Take a look at some of the customer reviews that you'll find on the front page of their site and if your like me you'll be sold from the very beginning. I know the next time I need some ink or supplies I plan on using them to provide me with their excellent service and products. Get 10% off any and all orders over $55 and keep track of your order by using their tracking system. Never be lost on where your order is and when it will arrive. They take pride in their company and are one of the leading suppliers of  printer ink cartridges.

Rumble in the Jungle Rob and Russell on Survivor Redemption Island

For those of you who have been waiting for the ultimate match, well we may have just found it this season with the return of two of the biggest baddest villains of all.

Boston Rob and Russell will take over the crew but will they last long enough to make it worth the watch? Myself I would be trying to vote them off from the very beginning. However we might see some interesting ways that that won't happen. Stay tuned and catch it on Survivor Redemption Island premiering on February 16th. Don't miss out!

Buy a Pair of Shoes ? Support a Charity

This Christmas when you are doing all of your holiday shopping, consider purchasing from a company that is doing something to make the world a better place.

Clarks Shoes was established in the 1800s and has been serving a larger purpose than just selling shoes since 2003. In 2003 partner Lance Clark visited a South African village devastated by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. He made a personal contribution to an orphanage in Durban and realized immediately that more was going to have to be done.

So began the organization Soul of Africa. Through this organization the company is able to provide young women affected by HIV with a higher quality of life by teaching them skills they can use within the company to manufacture shoes and giving them a living wage. The organization doesn?t stop there. All manufacturing profits go to the orphanage in Durban. This money allows the children in the orphanage to have access to living necessities they?ve never had before such as clean comfortable beds, running water and kitchens.

Designer shoe company, DSW and Gotham City Online are two places you can go to purchase a pair of these shoes known for comfort and style. And at about $70 a pair, they aren?t going to break the bank. Now one of the largest and most respected footwear companies in the world, Clarks has a strong commitment to comfort, quality, authenticity and individual style.

While you are out and about doing all the shopping you normally would be doing anyway, don?t forget the reason for the season. Be sure to make conscious decisions of the companies you are buying from and the charities and organizations they support.

Should Survivor Reality Series Start Giving Away Vehicles

Recently several discussions have been had regarding the Survivor Reality show. One in particular that I had thought of and having spoken with a Big Brother cast member mentioned the same thing. That is that they should bring back a select few cast members who have been voted off either as the first or second to go. We never really got to see if they could play the game or not. Personally I think it would be interesting to put them against each other. Another thing is should they start giving away a vehicle to those who are voted off in the beginning? How bout let's give them a Volkswagen Cc Sport or possibly a Gmc Yukon Xl? I mean it's just a thought right. Don't they deserve something?

There are a few that I don't think should receive anything, and Jeff Probst would highly agree I think and so would anyone who reads some of their tweets and facebook statuses. Very derogatory and demeaning in more ways than one. Ever go on Survivor Whispers? Lately it's become a venue to bash others which is not what such a site should be about, but then again they should in all honesty be able to run their site like they want but they won't win a Chevrolet Silverado with my vote if that was the case.

Tell us what you think? Do you think a prize such as a Mercedes-Benz Slk 300 would be appropriate for say the first person voted off Survivor Redemption Island? It's something to think about. We do vote on the one who's most deserving of the 100, 000 grand why not vote on the first two voted off to receive a nice new vehicle.

Chime in and let us know what you think? Got something to add, feel free to comment or retweet or send to you survivor friends on facebook. And if you want to keep up with this blog please click the RSS Feed in the upper right sidebar. Thanks for visiting. All comments are welcome but we hold the bashing to a minimum.

Survivor Season 22 to Kick Off on Feb. 16, 2011. Survivor Vets Return

It is shaping up to at least be a much better season than season 21 where old versus new was the beginning them. Fabio outwitted, outplayed and was the sole survivor of last seasons show. In the beginning who would have thought that this silly character of a survivor contestant even had a chance? However he proved us all wrong.

In this upcoming season we find Boston Rob and Russell Hantz returning to Nicaragua and Redemption  island in an attempt to win the one million dollars. You can go to survivor.com/cbs and see how they plan on doing this. I'd be willing to bet though that they won't last long but won't be voted off easy. If they allow them to stick around it could turn into an interesting watch of this years episodes.

With a total of 18 contestants with the most familiar ones being Rob and Russell the season premieres on Wednesday Feb. 16, 2011. Tune in and catch each and every episode it should be an exciting season.

What do you think? Have anything to add join the conversation by commenting and or send to your facebook friends or retweet.
