Swimming Above Ground

What a ride! Lately it seems I've been saying that alot. Having lived through a tornado a few weeks ago while most everything else was destroyed has been an experience I will never forget. As most of you know we lost pretty much everything. As a matter of fact the little town we lived in had like 101 houses and so far 54 have been demolished and are now empty lots. That's not including all the trees that are missing. We also lost one of our swimming pool covers.
However material things are replaceable. I am just glad more lives weren't lost and that there was not very many injuries. From all the devastasion that you can see it's a wonder that anything was left standing. Things will not be the same. Our little community will and has come together to help each other and we have had many, many outsiders help as well. To all of you thanks it's been a blessing to see the support you have given us.

Will you rebuild someone asked? Possibly, possibly not! At this point it's too soon for us to make any rational decisions other than give it some time. It's hard to even drive into town now and see the empty lots, the missing houses the destruction of structures in the main part of town. Keep us in your prayers if you pray!
