At Tribal Council, Rob says he’s nervous, but hopes that people see Grant as a bigger threat. Jeff asks about Ashley choosing Natalie for the reward. Ashley says it’s no surprise the girls are close. Jeff informs her that while it may be no surprise, her saying it out loud is kind of a big deal. Jeff then asks Natalie if she’s concerned, “Yeah, hic.”
Jeff asks Rob what gets him through them game. He talks about his family and the jury gets soft. Well, softer. They’ve basically been pushovers this whole game. Then Grant talks about his soon-to-be wife and millions of female Survivor viewers die a little bit inside. Oh, and Julie’s eyes tear up.
Votes are cast, and Jeff reads them out. Rob looks pained, but it’s Grant who’s off to Redemption Island. “See you guys shortly,” he says before running off. Jeff reminds the remaining players that someone they’ve voted off will be returning to camp. And I just want to remind you that PHILLIP IS STILL IN THIS GAME!
