Survivor 21 What did you Think About This Years Show

Survivor 21 Elders vs. Juniors
Jud "Fabio" Birza was named the winner in the final episode on December 19, 2010, defeating Chase Rice and Matthew "Sash" Lenahan in a 5–4–0 vote. Jane Bright won $100,000 as the "Sprint Player of the Season."

Pretty boy Jud Birza, better known to fans as Fabio, beat Chase Rice by one vote to take the title of Sole Survivor and the million-dollar prize. He also became the youngest player at age 21 to win the game. It was interesting that it came down to these two guys — Sash Lenahan didn't get any love from the jury — because it almost seemed like a contest between dumb and dumber. (Jury member Marty Piombo even suggested a Dumber Than a Bag of Hammers Award, most likely for Chase, whom he couldn't stand.)

This year I really found it hard to maintain interest in the show like the many seasons prior. It really was all about playing dumb and who was the dumbest. From attempting to pull off some of the similar tactics as in previous seasons such as, drowning shoes to putting out the campfire it was dull! Period. It was dull.

Then you had two who thought it so dull they even quit the game stating their own reasons and or unusual circumstances. But it wasn't all about the final three in the reunion show. There was of course plenty of talk about NaOnka's bad attitude (her mom apparently wasn't surprised by her daughter's behavior), not to mention the fact that she and Purple Kelly quit the game. Probst announced that thanks to those two ladies, going forward, the show has the option to not include quitters in the jury.

The bottom line is I thought it sucked. Let's hope next season has some of the old spice such a true villain like Russsell Hantz. Or a true Survivor like Parvati. Looking forward to a better and more interesting season up and coming.

How the Hell Did I Miss This Last Night ~ Survivor Nicaragua Episode 12

Here I thought I saw the whole show last night but I guess it must have been about the time some events took place that totally distracted me from everything around me and I mean everything. But damn I was peeping Survivor episode 12 out so how the hell did I miss this last night?

Purple Kelly and NaOnka up and quit the show. If you read Jeff Probst blog post here you will get a better explanation or at least his take on their decision and behind the scenes I bet he gave them more than an earful. I can only imagine some of the things he might have said to them. Jeff appears to be a Simon Cowell of sorts but does tone it down in front of a live audience so to speak.

Have you ever quit anything and totally regretted it every since? I have quit the football team in high school one year, I didn't like the crazy eye coach as we called him. He had one eye that seemed to look in several different directions at any given time while the other remained stationary like a normal eye. Ole crazy eye we called him amongst a few other choice words. I did regret it but for only a short time. You see life gives us this ability to make choices. Granted some of the ones we make aren't always that healthy for us and some are downright inappropriate but we still have that ability to decide. It gives us or for me I say "I give myself permission" to change my mind.

I have quit different jobs I liked to take on ones I thought I'd not only like but the pay was better. I've also walked away from a six figure a year job to take on a different challenge that I thought would not only be rewarding but would make me happier than what material things and financial gain I was getting from the six figures. And I was but I realized the money was nice too but I've given more money away than I have ever saved for myself. But would I walk away from an opportunity to win $1,000,000.00. That's one million dollars folks. It's the opportunity to make some life changing decisions, to help someone around you, to invest or blow, whatever you choose to do with it if you won. NaOnka and Purple Kelly did just that.

the two could have been

What's your take on it? How do you think it affected the show and is it fair that they were allowed to walk away knowing that two potential contestants who tried out during the casting calls could have been in their place and possibly even been one of the winners. Or is it OK for them to make these kind of decisions in their own life knowing that they have to live with it, not you and I. They are the ones who have to look at there family and friends each day and still smile or frown depending on how they themselves are dealing with it.

And who do you think has the best chance at winning now? The remaining contestants are
  • Chase
  • Fabio
  • Jane
  • Sash
  • Benry
  • Dan
  • Holly
My personal favorite is Fabio who I really thought had no chance in hell at the beginning. But the most likely is Holly or Chase. Just my thoughts. Feel free to share yours below. And share on facebook with your friends or retweet to your followers.
