Get into the Mind of a Deep Thinker Through His Photos and Storytelling

I've been wanting to share this site for a while. So here it is, a place from where I receive a daily photo in my inbox from Jonathan Harris. Here is today's picture that arrived quite timely considering the project I am working on sorta, kinda relates. It's top secret though so I can't tell ya or I'd have to.. well you know the deal. Anyway take a gander at this photo. I hope you find it as intriguing as I. (by the way that photo looks a great deal better in a bigger image but wouldn't fit as such here)

Jonathan's work is in my opinion a photographers dream. If you do pay his site a visit you will also see that he does a lot of work in design and what not. His work has also been recognized by AIGA, Ars Electronica, the state of Vermont (for which he co-designed the state quarter), Print Magazine (which named him a 2008 New Visual Artist) and The World Economic Forum (which named him a 2009 Young Global Leader). He has given talks at Google, Princeton and Stanford Universities, the TED Conference, and at 2 hippy forest gatherings.

I would have to say that he is also a deep thinker by what I have read of his and the stories he so graciously puts together in his daily emails along with the photo. Quite interesting at times and at the least sometimes out there, but hey I can relate.

He is currently in Iceland and the photo's I have received from him have all been from there. I think I found him when I was surfing around looking for info regarding the recent volcanic activity that halted flights in the UK or Europe a couple months or so back.

He is also the co-creator of a site named we feel fine and lo and behold if I'm going to try and explain this one to ya. You'll have to visit and get the ins and outs for yourself. I will say it is built on harvesting the human emotions from the phrases 'I feel' and or 'I am feeling' from the Internet’s newly posted blog entries. Something to do with... well like I say I'm not going to my database brain and try to figure it out. Go see for yourself if your interested.
