Progress
Just a quick note of thanks to all the visitors who happen upon my blog. Your support has been graciously received as always. I started this blog on July 28th, 2009 without the slightest clue about a blog, traffic, promotion, social media, SEO, let alone html and the likes. I have to say that I have been pleased with my progress and hope that you have as well.
Not Perfection
You will not likely find much perfection here but if you continue to stick around, come back and visit,
I can promise you that you will see progress. I'll share my errors right along with my trials and successes. Hopefully more of the latter will shine through.
In the past 6 months I have gained some knowledge, if only a little, in the above mentioned clueless abilities. It has truly been an experience that has had me shaking my head at times. I started out without even thinking about the importance of a domain name or having a niche blog. I knew what I wanted to say but at times it just didn't always fit where I want this blog to go. It's definitely been trial and error. With some support from fellow bloggers and an aggressive approach I've made some progress without perfection. After all if you have a business, or you're starting a business isn't it important to reach out to others for support?
Progress not perfection has been an important way for me to look at life and it's daily challenges in what ever it is that I am doing. I don't always remember this. I am my own worst critic but as long as I remember to take a look at the progress I make instead of criticizing my imperfections I'm usually a lot better off.
New Design Coming Soon
As mentioned in a previous blog post Open Seas of Blogging I shared with you about how I felt at times with blogging as well as some of the important things that I'd learned up to this point. I love this challenge as that is what it is to me. Previously I mentioned it as a business. I'm not sure this blog will ever become "my business" so to speak. I do have plans on a New Design and it will be coming soon. Not like tomorrow or nothing but soon. As far as a business, it's teaching me some things about Internet Marketing and leveraging other area's so more than likely this blog along with a new design will remain pretty much the same. A place for me to share my experience, strength and hope with others who are taking or willing to take the same path. And I am focusing on a whole new blog and niche for a small business adventure...wish me luck!
